Dr. Hayley Dieckmann

DVM

Coming Soon.

Dr. Dieckmann grew up in Oakland, California, and developed an early love of animals inspired by the Bay Area’s pets and wildlife. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a rotating internship in Denver focused on medicine, surgery, and emergency care.

Following her internship, Dr. Dieckmann spent five years in general practice in Colorado, providing care for dogs, cats, companion exotics, and even the animals at the Denver Aquarium. She recently returned to the Bay Area and brings a wealth of experience in companion animal and exotic animal medicine. In addition to joining PETS Referral Center, she serves as a relief veterinarian at the Oakland Zoo and works with UC Davis on disaster preparedness for zoos and wildlife facilities. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Dieckmann enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring with her husband, son, chocolate lab, tortoiseshell cat, and uromastyx lizard.
