Calling All Golden Retrivers

Dr. Zarfoss would like to call attention to Golden Retriever Pigmentary Uveitis (GRPU) which can cause significant pain and blindness later in life, is difficult to detect early without a thorough eye exam, but for which early detection and treatment can improve prognosis considerably. If you have a Golden Retreiver, even if his or her eyes seem totally normal, Dr. Zarfoss recommends an eye exam at 4 years of age (the youngest that GRPU is usually diagnosed).
