PETS was originally founded many years ago by a group of local general practice veterinarians to reduce the burden of after hours emergency calls and improve the quality of this care.
Over the years PETS has continued this tradition of serving the local veterinary community by providing high quality emergency care and has evolved to support specialty services including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Emergency, and Hospice and Palliative Care. We are available 24hrs/day, 365 days a year including all holidays and no appointment is necessary for emergency care, though we do ask that you call in advance if possible.
We work closely with your veterinarian with the shared goal of providing you and your pet with the best possible care. We also feel the most important ingredient in providing quality medical care is the people, and we are very proud of our team of skilled and compassionate doctors, nurses, and client service staff. When your pet is under our care, you can rest assured that she or he is in good hands.

Stephanie Burr, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Stephanie Burr grew up in the Bay Area, California. She attended UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation she completed a year long emergency and surgery focused rotating internship at VCA Encina and East Bay Veterinary Emergency. When not working at the clinic, Dr. Burr spends her time doing yoga, spin, traveling and spending time with her cat Lily and chocolate lab Rusty.
