PETS was originally founded many years ago by a group of local general practice veterinarians to reduce the burden of after hours emergency calls and improve the quality of this care.
Over the years PETS has continued this tradition of serving the local veterinary community by providing high quality emergency care and has evolved to support specialty services including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Emergency, and Hospice and Palliative Care. We are available 24hrs/day, 365 days a year including all holidays and no appointment is necessary for emergency care, though we do ask that you call in advance if possible.
We work closely with your veterinarian with the shared goal of providing you and your pet with the best possible care. We also feel the most important ingredient in providing quality medical care is the people, and we are very proud of our team of skilled and compassionate doctors, nurses, and client service staff. When your pet is under our care, you can rest assured that she or he is in good hands.

Kathy Lee, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kathy Lee graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and completed an internship in small animal emergency, medicine and surgery in San Diego. Although currently practicing mostly emergency medicine, she’s also received certifications in acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine herbology and food medicine from Chi University. Dr. Lee shares her life and home with her partner, children, dog, and chickens. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, yoga, snowboarding, and knitting.
