Over the years PETS has continued this tradition of serving the local veterinary community by providing high quality emergency care and has evolved to support specialty services including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Emergency, and Hospice and Palliative Care. We are available 24hrs/day, 365 days a year including all holidays and no appointment is necessary for emergency care, though we do ask that you call in advance if possible.
We work closely with your veterinarian with the shared goal of providing you and your pet with the best possible care. We also feel the most important ingredient in providing quality medical care is the people, and we are very proud of our team of skilled and compassionate doctors, nurses, and client service staff. When your pet is under our care, you can rest assured that she or he is in good hands.

Jessica Jennings, Medical Director
Dr. Jessica Jennings is a California native, growing up in the Santa Cruz Mountains. She went to UC Davis majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. She graduated from Western University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Afterwards she continued her training in a rotating small animal internship in Walnut Creek, CA. Due to a love of learning she completed two years of an Emergency and Critical Care Residency (ACVECC) before deciding to follow her true passion of Emergency Medicine. She joined the PETS team in 2013 initially as relief then full-time in 2015. Four years later she stepped into the role of Medical Director.
When not at the hospital, she enjoys reading, running, hot yoga, sailing, and camping. Her busy family includes one husband, two children, two dogs, six chickens, and one tarantula.
